I write software in Hong Kong. This is the whole line, from the beginning to now, and not only the parts I was paid for. Most of what I have been paid for comes down to taking something slow and making it fast, so where there is a number worth showing, it is drawn to scale. So is the rail: the distance between two entries is the time between them. Open an entry to see the work. The one page version is my resume.

- Rebuilt the analytics platform underneath it, on ClickHouse with Prefect moving the data in.
- Added lead tracking on top of it, which picked up 4,500 leads and USD 50M of orders in its first six months.
- Ran daily checks across 50,000 instruments for rating changes, maturities and price moves. A million rows, under ten minutes, on Spark and Clojure.
- Took a threaded monolith apart into 25 autoscaling processors on Kubernetes and got twice the throughput out of it.
- Looked after the observability platform, wrote its alerts as tested infrastructure code, and carried its pager.

- GraduatedMay 2020Walked out of HKU with a computer science degree and a company I had already been running for a year.
- A place for Hong Kong high school students to share notes and past papers. Started it at university, ran it for three years, and it still gets about 25,000 unique users a month.
- Hong Kong Science Park seed funded it with HK$100,000. I managed four part time engineers and an intern.
- Kept test coverage near 90%, mostly because I was the one who would be fixing it at 2am otherwise.
- Wound the company down in 2022 and left the platform running as a non profit rather than switch it off.

Built an investment idea recommender, and a competition platform that graded submissions live during a recruiting event.

Final year project: 50 concurrent requests through an image analysis pipeline - before

Full scholarship, 3.51/4.30. The project split the pipeline into per task containers behind a scheduler, so latency stayed flat as load went up instead of collapsing.
